Starting at 8am tomorrow (09/08/2023), Wastewater Department crews will close two northbound lanes on North Florida Avenue between E Adalee Street and E Janette Avenue to begin emergency repairs to a deteriorated manhole. One northbound lane will always remain open. Detour signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
This repair will continue between the hours of 8am – 4pm, through Tuesday, September 12. A map of the work area and lane changes is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
