On January 10th at 9am, the northbound lanes of S Himes Ave between W Kensington Ave and W Euclid Ave will be closed to allow Wastewater Department crews to install a sewer lateral. Signage and traffic control devices will be located on-site to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Southbound traffic will not be impacted. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.
The installation and restoration work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, January 13. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
