Partial closure on N Rome Ave between W Hanlon and W Kirby Streets begins June 6 for Utility Construction

Starting at 9 am on June 6, Wastewater Department crews will close a section of N Rome Ave between W Hanlon and W Kirby Streets to install a sewer lateral. Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.

Construction and restoration work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 9. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area and recommended detour routes is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
