On April 10 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews will close a section of W Morrison Avenue between S MacDill Ave and S Marti St to complete a road restoration project.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured at S MacDill Ave: north to W Swann Ave or south to W Bay-to-Bay Blvd
Westbound traffic will be detoured at S Howard Ave: north to W Swann Ave or south to W Bay-to-Bay Blvd
Signage and traffic control devices will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.
This restoration work is scheduled to be completed by April 12. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area and recommended detour routes is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
