Starting at 9 am on Monday, December 12, department crews are closing a section of S Howard Ave between W Marjory Ave and W Southview Ave to start emergency repairs on a sewer mainline pipe and restore a depression in the road. Signage and traffic control devices will be in place to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area. Safe access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area.
This project is expected to be completed no later than the close of business on December 16. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
