On April 16 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews will temporarily close a segment of E 138th Ave between Bruce B Downs Blvd and N 37th St to repair several manholes in the road. Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses near the work site. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
The repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, April 19. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area recommended detour routes is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
