On April 1 at 9:00 AM, a contractor for the Wastewater Department will begin Phase I of a force main replacement project that will temporarily close a segment of the westbound lane of W Spruce Street (between N Clark Ave - N Lemans Blvd). Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with rerouting traffic into the center turn lane. Traffic will resume normal flow once past the work site. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.
The repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, April 19. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
