Starting Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the northbound lane of Himes Avenue will be closed between Azeele St. and Kennedy Blvd. to allow Wastewater Department crews to perform an emergency repair on a sewer lateral that was damaged by a directional bore contractor. Northbound traffic on Himes Ave. will be detoured at Azeele St. Southbound traffic on Himes Ave. will remain open. Construction and restoration work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, December 23, contingent on weather conditions.
