Due to more extensive repairs needed to complete this work, all lanes on Benjamin Road are now closed between Benjamin Center Drive and Johns Road while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break. Flaggers will no longer be in the area, instead barricades and signs are in the area to assist with traffic flow. All lanes are expected to reopen by 10pm tonight. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work is expected by 5pm, Tuesday, September 6. The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work. An update will be provided at that time. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
