As one of the premier conference facilities in the Southeast, our venue attracts countless people each year—-which also means countless drivers who need to park their vehicles. Fortunately, with a little planning, you’ll find that parking at our facility is easy thanks to the many parking options located nearby.

Before hitting the road, consider some of our top recommendations for affordable and accessible parking.

Owned and operated by the City of Tampa, the rates for the below parking garages are as follows:

Event Rate: Flat rate ranging from $5.00 to $12.00, subject to the event

Rate: $1.60 per hour up to 5 hours, over 5 hours flat $9.50 per day

Tampa Convention Center Garage

141 E. Brorein St (Tampa Street & Brorein Street)

The Tampa Convention Center garage is a 465-space covered parking garage that includes 10 disabled parking spaces and 1 electric vehicle charging station.

The entrance to this garage is located on the far side of our facility at the intersection of Tampa St. and Brorein St. Once parked, visitors will exit onto Channelside Drive and use the crosswalk to reach our Franklin St entrance.

For event flat rate parking, you will pay upon arrival, otherwise you will need to pull an entry ticket and keep it with you to pay at the pay station before returning to your vehicle. The pay station will dispense a paid ticket, which you will need to verify at the ticket machine upon exiting the garage.

Please keep in mind that for large events this garage may fill quickly. If this is the case, consider one of the alternative options below.

Pam Iorio Parking Garage (Formerly South Regional)

301 Channelside Drive (Entrances: Florida Avenue & Morgan Street)

The Pam Iorio Parking Garage offers ample parking with 790 hourly spaces, 350 monthly contracted spaces (marked with reserved #'s), and 2 Electric Vehicle Charging stations. This parking garage is located between the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena and is a short walk to either venue.

To reach the Pam Iorio Parking Garage from Franklin Street, see the directions below. From Franklin Street, keep left to follow signs to Convention Center parking on Channelside Dr.

Once on Channelside Dr., take the first right onto S Florida Ave and turn left into the Pam Iorio parking garage entrance.

Please keep in mind that this garage may experience higher traffic when there is an event at Amalie Arena.

Fort Brooke Garage

107 N. Franklin Street (Hourly Entrance: Whiting Street)

The Ft Brooke Garage offers 556 hourly parking spaces and is located about 0.3 miles (or a 7 minute walk) from the Tampa Convention Center. Though this parking garage is a bit further than the other two options, it often experiences the least amount of traffic—making it easy for drivers to get in and out quickly.

The Ft Brooke Garage is located within walking distance of the Convention Center, but for those who prefer to ride to our facility, the Tampa Streetcar offers FREE transportation to/from our building and the garage. Visitors can take the streetcar from stop #11 (located just outside the garage at the corner of Whiting St and Franklin St) to stop #10 Dick Greco Plaza, located just outside our facility.

Disability Parking

The City of Tampa Parking Division is dedicated to meeting the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines for accessible parking. In addition to the disabled parking spaces located within the parking garages, there are 33 designated on-street spaces located in Tampa’s downtown for visitors with disabilities. Two of these spaces can be found in the Tampa Convention Center circle-drive, in addition to 34 other metered parking spaces.

For off-street parking, visitors can find designated disability parking spaces in city of Tampa garages, including the Tampa Convention Center garage. If a driver with a disability requires assistance or qualifies for the Florida Toll Exemption, they can use the call button and phone number located on each Central Pay Station device and on each ExpressParc Exit Station device.

For more information on disabled parking downtown, please visit the City of Tampa’s disabled parking page.

Park and Ride

For very large events parking will be limited in Tampa’s Downtown. In this case, we recommend parking at the Port of Tampa Bay Garage in the Channel District or at a City of Tampa garage in Ybor and taking the Tampa Streetcar to our building for FREE. The Streetcar offers free rides and continuous service between downtown, the Channel District, and Ybor City. For a streetcar route map and live wait times, visit http://tecolinestreetcar.org.
