Alexander Elementary School Supply Drive

As part of the National Hispanic Heritage Celebration, the Mayor’s Hispanic Heritage Committee (MHHC) has partnered with Alexander Elementary School. This is a predominantly Hispanic (95%), economically disadvantaged school. The school vision is to provide students with lifelong skills that promote creativity and foster independent thinking through an integrated curriculum in a safe environment. With that in mind, the MHHC set a course to collect donations with our community partners to assist with this vision.

We are collecting supplies to be used in the classrooms, such as:

  • Stickers
  • Dry Erase Markers
  • Glue Sticks
  • Reams of white copy paper
  • Reams of color copy paper
  • Crayons
  • Washable Markers
  • Sharpie Permanent Marker (Blue/Black)
  • Spiral Notebooks (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow)
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Box of tissues
