Mayoral Appointments: Diversity and Representation Criteria
In appointing members to the EBOAC, the Mayor may include a combination of subcontractors and prime contractors to ensure diverse representation. The composition of membership should represent at least:
- One (1) African American citizen
- One (1) Hispanic American citizen
- One (1) Caucasian Female citizen
- One (1) Caucasian Male citizen
- One (1) citizen from the construction industry
- One (1) citizen from the service industry
- Representation from stakeholder organizations
- Two (2) citizens at-large (non-specific to race, gender, or industry)
