Tampa Police are investigating a homicide that stemmed from an altercation between two males in Borrell Park. Officers arrived to find the victim with upper body trauma. Although officers attempted to provide life-saving aid, he succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary information suggests the victim, a black male in his early 30’s, was involved in a physical altercation with the suspect, a black male of the same approximate age.
Although early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random act. Detectives are currently working to develop leads to locate and arrest the suspect.
