SUBJECT: Dandre Lee (black male) 1/19/1980
UPDATE: After hours of negotiations, Tampa Police have taken Dandre Lee into custody without incident. Lee had barricaded himself inside a residence in the 2700 block of E. 12th Avenue after assaulting a neighbor during an altercation that escalated.
Lee and the victim, who are neighbors, engaged in a verbal altercation over money. During the verbal altercation Lee produced a gun and reportedly fired it in the air, before striking the victim in the head with the pistol. The victim called the police and Lee fired the weapon again.
Lee exited the home and was immediately taken into custody. He will be transported to Hillsborough County Jail, charged with Aggravated Battery and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
