Mayor Jane Castor and Interim Chief Lee Bercaw, along with the Tampa Police Memorial Committee, will pay tribute to all fallen officers and their family members on Tuesday, May 9 at 7:00 PM in front of the Monument to Fallen Officers at One Police Center.

The ceremony will include the Tampa Police Honor Guard, a 21-Gun Salute, a Riderless Horse, the St. Andrew's Pipes & Drums of Tampa Bay, and a flyover by the Tampa Police Aviation Unit.

The public is invited to join the men and women of the Tampa Police Department as we honor our thirty-two fallen officers, and all those across the nation, who lost their lives in the performance of their duties.

For those who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/TampaPD.

According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, since the first known line-of-duty death in 1786, more than 23,000 U.S. law enforcement officers have made the ultimate sacrifice. This includes the thirty-two officers from the Tampa Police Department we will honor at our Memorial Ceremony.
