The City of Tampa is set to host Senior Day in the Park this Friday, where over 400 local seniors will gather at MacFarlane Park.
The event aims to promote healthy living among seniors, and it will start with a one-mile walk in the park. After the walk, the seniors will be able to enjoy live entertainment, games, and raffles.
There will also be 40 community vendors, offering a variety of services and products to the attendees. Additionally, free food and shirts will be available for the seniors while supplies last.
Senior Day in the Park has been a City of Tampa Parks & Recreation tradition since 1982, and tomorrow marks its 41st year.
The event is open to the public, and it is free of charge. It is an excellent opportunity for seniors to gather and celebrate their community while also having some fun and engaging in healthy activities.
