This morning, divers with the Tampa Police Marine Patrol recovered the body of a deceased adult female from the waters off Ballast Point. Positive identification is currently pending.
While the investigation is in its early stages, there is nothing to suggest foul play. The exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office.
