City of Tampa Opening Additional FEMA Help Centers for Hurricane Impacted Residents

The City of Tampa is expanding its support for residents impacted by recent hurricanes by opening three additional FEMA assistance centers starting tomorrow, October 23.

These centers will provide computer access and assistance for residents to submit their FEMA applications online, ensuring the process is accessible for those without internet access or who need help navigating the application.

The new centers are strategically located across Tampa to serve all areas of the city. City of Tampa staff will be available to assist residents Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 12 PM. Depending on demand, hours may be extended.

Please note that no FEMA representatives will be onsite. City of Tampa staff will be available to answer general questions and provide access to computers only.

Required Information for Online FEMA Applications:

  • Residents will need to bring the following information to complete their applications:
  • Address of your damaged home or apartment
  • Names of people living in your household
  • A description of your disaster damages
  • Insurance information
  • Social Security Number
  • A telephone number where you can be reached or a message can be left
  • Bank account information
  • Email address
