Last week, young scientists, engineers, and mathematicians put their best work on display at the HCSP STEM Fair.
The Tampa Convention Center hosted this year’s annual Hillsborough STEM Fair on February 5-7, showcasing around 1,500 projects created by K-12 students from more than 190 Hillsborough County Public Schools.
The K-12 STEM Education Department reinforces the practice of STEM education across all Hillsborough County Public schools and the Tampa Convention center is proud to support a cause that prepares our youth for professional and personal success.
The winners of the STEM fair continue on to state and national levels, motivated by their celebrated creativity and success. The Tampa Convention center is happy to witness these achievements and be part of an event that facilitates student innovation.
“So impressed with his work ethic, humble manner, and clear dedication to STEM!” said Shannah de Silva, a teacher at Chiles Elementary whose student won Best of Fair.
Many other Hillsborough County Schools were home to STEM Fair winners and all were proud to feature projects crafted by the intelligent minds of their schools.
The Tampa Convention center is impressed with the talent demonstrated during the 39th annual STEM Fair and eager to see the ingenuity brought to next year’s event.
Congratulations to all of this year’s STEM Fair Winners!
