The City of Tampa’s goal of planting 30,000 trees by 2030 includes the following planting programs for City of Tampa residents:

Planting in Public Spaces

is a City of Tampa program under Trees for Tampa that offers a comprehensive approach to increasing tree canopy along streets, in parks, and in other publicly owned land. The effort is led jointly by City Planning and the Sustainability and Resiliency Departments.

Treemendous:

A free program that provides individuals and neighborhood associations with trees for planting on City land, greenways, and street rights of way.

Plant Your Heart Out

A neighborhood tree planting program that is funded by Suncoast Credit Union and implemented by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, in partnership with the City of Tampa.
