Switch Together is a solar group buying program offered in partnership with the national nonprofit Solar United Neighbors (SUN). The City of Tampa has partnered with SUN for several years to offer residents a resource to learn about and access solar in a co-op model (See our past 2024 co-op). The 2025 program offers an opportunity for residents and small businesses to go solar using group buying, with guidance from the expertise of nonprofit Solar United Neighbors. Switch Together ensures that participants have access to the resources they need to make an informed decision about whether solar is the right fit for their home or business.

Switch Together offers free educational webinars and in-person events to explain the process and answer any questions you may have about solar energy. Additionally, participants will have access to pro bono consultations through Solar United Neighbor’s Helpdesk.
