The Capital Resurfacing Program is a scheduled street repaving program in which locations are prioritized by the condition of the existing pavement. Projects completed under this program undergo engineering design to change the profile of roadways and eliminate surface ponding. In addition to repaving, improvements can include restriping, bike markings, and reconstruction of curb ramps to comply with the accessibility standards and requirements set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
Resurfacing is also completed as a part of general maintenance and street repair. For more information visit the Potholes and Street Repairs page.
Details for all active Transportation projects, currently in the planning or design process, can be found on the Transportation Capital Improvement Projects page.
