Routine driving patterns in Downtown Tampa are going to be impacted by an upcoming construction project.
Starting Monday, May 13th, 2024, E. Jackson Street, between Tampa Street and Franklin Street, will be reduced to one eastbound lane as crews replace an aging wastewater pipe.
The closure is expected to last up to three weeks.
Drivers should use extra caution in the area or avoid it all together by using N. Ashley Drive to either E. Whiting Street or E. Madison Street. Tampa Police Officers will be directing traffic in the area.
