A conference at the Tampa Convention Center benefitted the Tampa area community by collecting donations to feed hungry students. BICSI held a donation drive during its 2023 Winter Conference at the Tampa Convention Center.

The money was donated to Operation Heart F.E.L.T. (Feeding Empty Little Tummies), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food to students in Hernando County. The group offers nutritious meals to students and their siblings on weekends, holidays, and school breaks.

These donations were a part of BICSI Cares, a year-round effort to support charities. The organization started in the 90s, and since then has donated more than $1 million. Those funds have benefited more than 50 different organizations.

The Tampa Convention Center team would like to recognize BICSI organizers and attendees for their generosity. Tampa Convention Center is proud of this effort and other community initiatives it is involved in.
