The City of Tampa’s goal of planting 30,000 trees by 2030 includes the following planting programs for City of Tampa residents:
Treemendous:¶
A free program that provides individuals and neighborhood associations with trees for planting on City land, greenways, and street rights of way.
Mayor’s Tree Giveaway:¶
An annual event in April where residents can pick up a free tree to plant on their private property in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day.
Plant Your Heart Out¶
A neighborhood tree planting program that is funded by Suncoast Credit Union and implemented by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, in partnership with the City of Tampa.
