The 1.0-mile segment of Bay to Bay Blvd from Dale Mabry Hwy to Bayshore Blvd is a 4-lane (two travel lanes in each direction) Collector roadway with a posted speed of 35 mph and serves the neighboring residential developments and commercial uses at the signalized intersections. This corridor was identified in the City's Walk-Bike Plan Phase 2, which can be found here:
https://www.tampagov.net/document/walk-bike-plan-phase-ii-report-26356
A study was performed to review current traffic conditions along the corridor and to evaluate the design and operational changes to better serve all roadway users including drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
