The City of Tampa is a recipient of Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Rapid Unsheltered Survivor Housing (RUSH) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds will support persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. ESG RUSH funding will be part of the Housing and Community Development (HCD) Division’s Request for Applications (RFA) which will be released no later than the end of April 2023. ESG RUSH funding will be granted to eligible homeless service agencies based on application, scoring, and award recommendations. The homeless service agency/ies will administer the ESG RUSH program funding to eligible persons in the City of Tampa that are part of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). It is expected that funding will be available to awarded agencies in Fall 2023.
