The City of Tampa’s Housing and Community Development Division (HCD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide major system replacement or repairs to single family homes financed through the City’s respective Affordable Housing Programs.
Individual contracts generally range up to $50,000 depending on the program and repairs involved. These repairs may include roof, electric, heating, plumbing, sewer, structural, lead paint remediation and weatherization (windows, doors, insulation, etc.) Individual contracts will be offered for bid throughout the year only to those contractors who have attended a mandatory pre-application meeting and been placed on the HCD Contractor Registration List.
Minority, Women - Owned and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The City does not discriminate in access to or treatment or employment in its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, familial status, or marital status. Contracting opportunities are offered subject to the Handbook and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
